📚 Weekly Classes — Brothers

Weekly self-improvement classes were one of KUM’s earliest activities, initially held in members’ homes on Friday nights. Since acquiring the KUM Centre in 2017, these classes grew significantly before transitioning to Zoom during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Allah says: (43:3) We verily, have made it a Quran in Arabic, that you may be able to understand (its meanings and its admonitions).”

Mondays

Arabic Lessons

Proper understanding of the text of Al Quran, making duas easier and supporting Quran memorisation. Utilised the Madinah Arabic Reader by Dr V. Abdur Rahim (Book 2).

Tuesdays

Tadarus Al Quran

Improving proficiency in reciting Al Quran as received by Prophet Muhammad SAW. Focus on Tajweed — correct rules and avoiding mistakes in recitation.

Saturdays — After Fajr

Ilmu Sharaf (BISA Syllabus)

Basic knowledge of Arabic word morphology — transforming words from one form to another within the Arabic language.

Saturdays — After Fajr

Tafseer Al Muneer

Practical lessons applying weekday Arabic class learning — reading and translating the tafseer, understanding each ayat and its context (Asbaab al Nuzul).

📚 Weekly Classes — Sisters
