A permanent home for the Malay Muslims of Northern Melbourne
After 10 years in existence as the main Malay Muslim association in northern Melbourne, KUM is extremely fortunate in the acquisition of the KUM Centre. The centre is a commercial building located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.
KUM Centre was purchased in May 2017 for AU$577,000, paid for utilising waqf funds received by the association from generous benefactors and donations through various fund raising activities conducted. Alhamdulillah.
The purchase of KUM Centre realises a key ambition for the Malay Muslim community in northern Melbourne by providing a permanent home for our activities and a place to call our own.
